Bevleigh Evans

Deputy Head of Population Health
NHS England

Bevleigh is passionate about integrated care and delivering personalised care through population health management. She has more than 20 years’ experience of working in and supporting health and local authorities to improve the quality of services.

Bevleigh works at NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I ) as head of population health management in system transformation, with responsibility for delivering system transformation for better, more sustainable care across the sustainability and transformation partnerships (STPs) and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs). She leads the population health management support workstream at NHSE/I.

The workstream supports ICSs and aspirant STPs to deploy rigorous population health management systems to ensure that care is focused on what people need and that care is focused earlier in the patient pathway. The Wave 2 PHM development programme is focused on at-risk groups of COVID-19 and will work with systems to develop truly integrated care models and explore new contracting and payment models across providers.

Before joining NHS England, Bevleigh held senior partnership roles across CCGs and local authorities, she worked within the delivery unit of Welsh government, and also in consultancy on large transformation projects to support aspiring foundation trusts.
