Anita Day is a chartered accountant, non-executive director, executive facilitator and coach, with an international people and culture strategy consulting background, and UK board experience in the private, public and third sectors.

Anita’s corporate experience includes founding and growing a skills consulting company and designing and implementing people and performance strategies in a global NYSE- listed corporation. She was also the Europe-wide culture transformation leader for IBM Global Business Services.

Anita sits on the boards of two NHS acute trusts as a non-executive director (NED). At Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, she is chair of the people and culture board committee, and the NED lead for the BAME shared governance and staff support networks. At Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, she is the NED lead for strategy and will soon be assuming the role of chair for the WAHT audit and assurance board committee.

She has recently been identified by NHSE/I to join their aspirant chair mentoring programme, with a view to taking up a trust chair role within the next 12-18 months. She is a member of the Seacole Group of BAME NHS non-executive directors.
