BIO

Calum joined GGI in July 2013 in the role of researcher, a position he held for a number of months before becoming a Communications and Marketing Officer within the Communications team. Calum’s role sees him manage the organisation’s social media platforms that includes monitoring a number of client based project LinkedIn discussion groups. Calum shapes, coordinates and delivers GGI’s marketing campaigns across a spectrum of digital media platforms that allows him to demonstrate his particular skills in stakeholder management, managing campaign complexity, creativity ambition and communication. As well as this Calum assists in providing project content research and event management support.

Calum recently facilitated a social media campaign as part of GGI’s project with NHS England supporting NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups improve their governance arrangements, which saw 800 participants from over 100 CCG’s engage in detailed discussion. Calum also initiated a mental health awareness campaign engaging with over 200 children & young people from the Hertfordshire County area. Most recently Calum co-authored GGI Championing sport governance.

 

INTERESTS

Calum has a keen interest in issues around mental health and how to best bring innovative and technological solutions into the framework of prevention and early diagnosis. He also has a great passion for sport, playing football and rugby in his spare time.

Calum graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London with an undergraduate degree in History in 2013.
