CQI Competency Framework [endorsed by GGI]

April 2016

The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) understands that to sustain delivery of high-quality products and services – organisations must establish effective systems of governance, assurance and commit to a culture of objective evaluation and continuous improvement.

The quality profession has a key role to play by ensuring it is capable of meeting this challenge. As the leading professional body for quality, the CQI has created a new Competency Framework, which provides an overview of the competencies the profession requires to do its job effectively.

The little blue book shows the structure of the framework, which is based around what quality professionals do (governance, assurance, improvement), the context they work in and the behaviours they must show.
