Sophie Paterson



Sophie’s expertise is in solving business problems with her clients and delivering transformational improvement. She is passionate about using business as a force for good and enabling the world to become a safer, fairer, and more inclusive place.

She has skills in strategy, transformation, performance, innovation, marketing, programme/project management, operations, sustainability and business ethics, and corporate governance.

Sophie has a law degree from Edinburgh University and started her career on the national NHS graduate scheme. She has over eight years’ experience as an NHS manager, mainly in transformation and innovation but also in customer success management, organisational development and HR. She has worked at four different NHS trusts, including community and acute, as well as a brief placement in central government.

Sophie has completed an MBA at Warwick Business School, where she worked with a variety of clients including two charities, a start-up, a technology consultancy, and several retailers. She has also worked in business development at a large multinational information technology company and as a consultant at a small data management company.

Outside of work Sophie is a committee member of a local Toastmasters (international public speaking and leadership) group and is an active member of Amnesty International. She also has a keen interest in natural health.
