Events Officer



Chantelle joins GGI as an events officer after graduating from Technological University of the Shannon, Ireland, with a degree in business studies with event management. She also has a Level 5 Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate.

Despite her recent graduation, Chantelle already has seven years of experience within the food, beverage, hospitality, and event industry. She completed two internships during her studies, as a marketing assistant and an event project manager, as well as carrying out research on the social impacts of festivals on host communities' quality of life. She also recently appeared as a guest speaker on The Events Insight podcast, talking about her experience in the event industry.

Chantelle has delivered and coordinated many events, particularly virtual webinars, conferences, and charity events. She has also helped start-up companies with their digital marketing campaigns, as well as volunteered for charity fundraisers.

A keen traveller, Chantelle recently set up an Irish female travel support page on social media, to provide women and girls from Ireland or living in the country with travel advice and support, which attracted 500 followers in its first week. She is also taking Spanish lessons.
