Biography

Since June 2016, Jackie has been involved with Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, where she has been a non-executive director and which she currently chairs.

She has been a trustee on the board of Samaritans since 2014 and an independent governor for the University of East London since 2019.

Jackie is a consultant clinical and forensic psychologist by profession, with over 25 years of NHS experience working in mental health services, and between 2009 and 2015 she was clinical director of the Forensic & Prisons Directorate of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in south east London.

She currently runs her own community interest company, providing consultancy on criminal justice and complex mental health care, including the provision of independent serious incident investigations for NHS England.

Jackie is particularly interested in new ways of working – particularly in partnerships between the voluntary sector and the public sector. Her clinical interests have included projects to improve the impact of services for individuals with complex mental health difficulties and serious offending histories.
