Mental Health Network

23 April 2021

The Mental Health Network and the Good Governance Institute jointly host a weekly peer to peer meeting for Chairs of Mental Health NHS Trusts.

Facilitated by the Chief Executives of the organisations, the meetings have brought together Chairs since March 2020 as a space for sharing, learning and approaching shared issues from supporting the wellbeing of staff through to modelling and shaping governance at the system level.

High profile external speakers engage with the group, given their status as mental health leaders. Past guests have have included Prerana Issar, chief people officer at NHSEI; Steve Baker, national mental health adviser for the College of Policing and National Police Chief’s Council; and Peter Fonagy OBE, chief executive of the Anna Freud Centre.

The meeting is open to all members of the Mental Health Network, with further information about membership available here. If you are interested in joining the regular meetings please get in touch with or
