Safeguarding

Safeguarding is about the detection and protection of people who may come to harm.  Good Governance Institute practitioners have wealth of experience in Patient Safety. This places us in a strong position to support the development of safeguarding within organisations, this includes:

• Board development sessions on safeguarding statutory requirements
• Review of the governance of safeguarding within organisations
• Using established patient safety techniques undertaking serious case reviews
• Supporting organisations to maximise the learning from safeguarding incidents

In partnership with Datix we have developed a board assurance product on safeguarding to support boards ensure that they are meeting their safeguarding responsibilities. GGI can help boards be sure they are meeting these responsibilities and that they have proper grip on this essential obligation.
