|Hannah joined GGI in November 2014 as a Researcher within the Research & Policy Team. Hannah provides project management support for a number of projects including a Peer Review Process of Integrated Medium Term Plans for NHS Wales and GGIs governance review of Welsh Health Specialised Services.
Previously Hannah has volunteered in the Philippines campaigning for the rights of Deaf people, with a particular focus on sexual violence prevention programmes. She has also spent 6 months living in Madrid, where she worked as an English tutor and attended Spanish classes.
In 2014 Hannah completed her masters at the London School of Economics in Social Policy (Health, Population and Society) where her research focused on changing nutritional patters in middle-income countries and the double burden of disease. Prior to this Hannah graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Neuroscience with a particular interest in human behaviour. Hannah’s final year thesis focused on access to ARV treatment in Brazil with a focus on the role that pharmaceutical companies played.
Hannah has a particular interest socio-economic and gender orientated health inequalities both locally and globally. During her free time Hannah enjoys sailing and has spent time teaching adults and children. She also enjoys cooking and cycling.
