|Prior to becoming a Partner in her own consultancy, Claire had 30 years’ experience of working in the UK NHS. Claire has a broad portfolio of experiences relating to secondary care, the ambulance service, The Department of Health the intermediate tier and latterly working as a senior investigation advisor on the high profile Savile inquiry.
Claire has worked for a number of acute providers in the role of a senior nurse, whilst moving on to undertake a number of national and regional large scale change programs, relating to strategic service redesign and improvement. Claire has urgent care and ambulance service experience and has led system wide improvement programs spanning the acute, primary, community and social care sectors.
Claire’s clinical background has proved to be a valuable asset in working with both managers and clinicians at all levels and all sectors of the NHS. Her approach, underpinned with strong clinical credibility, has enabled her to build successful and productive relationships which have led to sustainable solutions across a number of different health systems.
With 30 years of experience in the complex and at times bewildering environment of the NHS, Claire is able to navigate her way through politically sensitive situations, understanding the importance of maintaining stakeholder engagement whilst striving for the delivery of patient focussed sustainable outcomes.
Claire has significant experience of leading teams and has a strong track record of delivery coupled with strong personal values and a commitment to improvement.
