||Cassie joined GGI in May 2015 as a Research Analyst within the Research & Policy Team where she provided project management and research support across a portfolio of projects.Prior to joining GGI, Cassie was a Planning and Transformation Consultant at Central Southern Commissioning Support Unit where she supported Clinical Commissioning Groups, predominantly within the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire geographies, with the strategic planning and delivery of critical programmes. Whilst with Central Southern Commissioning Support Unit, Cassie supported a number of service redesign and transformation projects and programmes to deliver improved operational efficiencies, improved service quality and better outcomes for patients. In addition, Cassie provided research support on project matters, best practice and innovation.
Cassie graduated from Bristol University in 2012 with a 2:1 in Anatomical Science, to include modules in Comparative Anatomy, Human Anatomy, Physiology, Embryology, Biomechanics and Statistics. Her dissertation focused on Osteoporosis and the histochemical and histomorphometric assessment of bone resorption.
Cassie is an avid skier and enjoys nothing better than escaping to the mountains. During her gap year, Cassie worked as part of a team to run a chalet in the French Alpes and has recently started volunteering in the UK as a slope volunteer with Disability Snowsport UK. Away from the snow, Cassie tries to keep fit through tennis and running and enjoys travel and spending time with friends and family.
