|Calum joined GGI in July 2013 as a part time intern, a role he held for a number of months before becoming a Communications and Marketing Officer within the Communications team. Calum’s role sees him facilitate the organisations’ social media platforms that includes monitoring a number of client based project LinkedIn discussion groups. As well as this Calum assists in providing project content research and event management support.
Prior to joining GGI, Calum worked for a community programme that aimed to provide access to sport for inner-city children. In his role as a coach of rugby and football to children from the ages of 3-7 years old, Calum was responsible for both teaching and entertaining children who had no experience of formal coaching. Calum also had a short spell of voluntary experience Arts and Humanities sector with the Newcastle upon Tyne based charity organisation Arts for Business.
Calum graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London with an undergraduate degree in History in 2013.
Calum has a keen interest in issues around mental health and how to best bring innovative and technological solutions into the framework of prevention and early diagnosis. He also has a great passion for sport, playing football and rugby in his spare time.
