Both commercial and NHS Codes of Governance Practice recommend that every year the Chair should lead the board through a thorough review of their work, added value and governance arrangements. This maturity matrix provides a structured approach to doing this, and can also form the basis of this process being externally facilitated every three years. GGI is able to support boards with
their annual review process and provide more intensive governance reviews which take into account all aspects of governing a healthcare organisation.
