Stephen Sharpe has over 20 years’ expertise in both managing and advising organisations. Driven by a desire to make a real difference, Stephen has devised and managed strategies enabling organisations to grow from start-up to thriving and acclaimed enterprises. In the case of his third sector involvement, Stephen has helped organisations achieve life-changing results for the homeless, marginalised and profoundly disabled. Having worked as a CEO and following his training at the Institute of Directors on the Director Development Diploma, Stephen now enjoys focusing on “making it happen” for a variety of enterprises. Stephen personally handles all business consultancy, passionately believing that his ability to operate both objectively and as a trusted extension to the client’s team is essential. He is equally adept at working alongside large teams or providing one-to-one support for time-poor senior managers. Stephen is also skilled at balancing his innovative thinking with an ability to provide a safe pair of hands. Over the past 10 years strategic plans developed and implemented by Stephen Sharpe have directly secured over £13million of capital and revenue funding. He ensures sound financial management through accurate business planning, timely management reports and income generation strategies - continually monitoring to ensure effective quality systems are fully utilised and implemented. In addition he utilises his highly effective networking skills and leverages established constituencies of support based on the good principles of partnership and relationship working. This approach is critical to income generation from individuals, companies, grant making trusts and the like. Stephen’s philosophy of trusted partnerships extends to the relationships he has with additional service providers that can be called on to support strategies. These include legal services, design and marketing agencies, project architects and income generation teams to deliver the design, finance, build, commissioning and operation of products, services, projects and developments. |
