David Milner

David is qualified accountant and consultant who has a nationally renowned reputation in health finance and organisations, with over 35 years NHS experience including 20 at Board Level. He as an SHA Director of Finance for over 6 years with responsibility for engaging in all performance management processes for PCTs Acute and Mental Health providers ensuring delivery of targets and objectives.

David has been pursuing a portfolio career since 2008 and has been busy working with NHS organisations of all kind, on both commissioning and provider sides. He was also tasked with reviewing the Care Quality Commission's performance management framework. His work with commissioners has included efficiency reviews, clarifying pricing methodologies and service benchmarking. He has also been involved with commissioning support where he acted as interim chief executive of a commissioning support agency.
