Tim Crossley, GGI Associate

Tim graduated as a medic from Oxford University and has spent his career working as an NHS GP, building up the Thornley Street Surgery in inner city Wolverhampton which now has six partners and a full primary health care team. The catchment area is characterised by a high number of assylum seekers and a university student population. His main clinical interests are social medicine and mental health. He has developed a practice from a very small and rundown organisation to a larger, teaching establishment it now is over a long period of time. Ginny Edwards, GGI Associate

Ginny is a clinician and manager and has been a Director in health care for over twenty years. She has extensive experience on leading the design, set up and implementation of national change management programmes which have delivered measurable high impact service improvement. This includes creating, designing and supporting sharing events, learning sets, networks and communities of practice to develop skills,share knowledge and create group behaviours, using various models of support. Annette is a strong, experienced leader, working at the highest level in complex statutory, charitable and commercial sector

David Goldberg, GGI Associate

David is an experienced healthcare manager.  He has worked in the U.K., U.S. and New Zealand heath care systems.  He specialises in consensus building, strategic planning.  Much of his work has been focussed on developing mechanisms for GPs and other clinicians to lead and have a major say in the organisation and delivery of care. During the World Class Commissioning efforts in Great Britain, David led a team to assist PCT Boards, Directors and clinicians to be better prepared for the assessments. David is a strong advocate for GP leadership in the organisation and delivery of services and believes that with the right information, GPs can increase the overall quality of care delivered.  He holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration.

Roger Hymas, GGI Associate

Roger Hymas is the founder of www.commissioningcommunity.co.uk,
a website set up to introduce health care commissioning services providers to GP consortia. Roger has worked on World Class Commissioning projects with over thirty PCTs since he completed his secondment to Hampshire PCT as Director of Commissioning in April 2008. More

     
   

Angus Malcolm, GGI Associate 

Angus is a communications and project management specialist who has worked closely with GGI on a number of projects. His clients include the Department of Health, National AIDS Trust,Terrence Higgins Trust, King’s Fund, African Health Policy Network, European Public Policy Network, Humana Europe, University of Milan and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he was a Research Fellow. He is currently developing a communications project to highlight issues around men’s health, in collaboration with the charity Men’s Health Forum. More

     
 

Hilary Merett, GGI Associate 

Hilary is a healthcare manager and consultant specialising in patient safety.  She has undertaken training, teaching and facilitation of staff in governance and clinical risk management within the UK, Ireland and overseas for many years and has consulted, written and lectured internationally on risk management and quality in healthcare.  She developed and chaired the Healthcare Risk Forum, one of the first networks for risk and governance managers in the UK.  She has worked with the National Patient Safety Agency on their root cause analysis eLearning toolkit and is the Editor of the journal Clinical Risk. Lee Phillips, GGI Associate

Lee is a managing partner at eleven//social and is a marketing and communications specialist with more than 20 years' branding, advertising, marketing, research and CRM experience in the UK and Asian markets. Lee launched US healthcare giant Humana in the UK market and set up Humana Creative, which became a leading provider of communications, engagement and social marketing services to the NHS. He previously worked in senior management roles for global brands including Vodafone and Harrods, and spent five years in Tokyo on the agency side operating in the financial services, IT and automotive sectors. His exploits at Humana saw him inducted into the CorpComms 100 Club, an organisation which recognises the top performing corporate communicators in the UK. More

Sue has worked across both the public and third sector achieving outcomes from national governance improvement to primary care transformation and many ground level change programmes. Her background is in clinical and organisational psychology and she has held senior roles in the NHS, local government and charities. More
