Alasdair is an experienced GP and now a leading health process consultant. He has particular 
expertise in conflict management and governance within and between healthcare organisations, focusing on whole system engagement at every level of the UK health care system. More  

     
   

Angus Malcolm, GGI Associate 

Angus is a communications and project management specialist who has worked closely with GGI on a number of projects. His clients include the Department of Health, National AIDS Trust,Terrence Higgins Trust, King’s Fund, African Health Policy Network, European Public Policy Network, Humana Europe, University of Milan and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he was a Research Fellow. He is currently developing a communications project to highlight issues around men’s health, in collaboration with the charity Men’s Health Forum. More

     
 

David Goldberg, GGI Associate

David is an experienced healthcare manager.  He has worked in the U.K., U.S. and New Zealand heath care systems.  He specialises in consensus building, strategic planning.  Much of his work has been focussed on developing mechanisms for GPs and other clinicians to lead and have a major say in the organisation and delivery of care. During the World Class Commissioning efforts in Great Britain, David led a team to assist PCT Boards, Directors and clinicians to be better prepared for the assessments. David is a strong advocate for GP leadership in the organisation and delivery of services and believes that with the right information, GPs can increase the overall quality of care delivered.  He holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration.

     
 

Hilary Merett, GGI Associate 

Hilary is a healthcare manager and consultant specialising in patient safety.  She has undertaken training, teaching and facilitation of staff in governance and clinical risk management within the UK, Ireland and overseas for many years and has consulted, written and lectured internationally on risk management and quality in healthcare.  She developed and chaired the Healthcare Risk Forum, one of the first networks for risk and governance managers in the UK.  She has worked with the National Patient Safety Agency on their root cause analysis eLearning toolkit and is the Editor of the journal Clinical Risk.   David Milner, GGI Associate                                                                                                        

David is qualified accountant and consultant who has a nationally
renowned reputation in health finance and organisations, with over 35 years NHS experience including 20 at Board Level. He as an SHA Director of Finance for over 6 years with responsibility for engaging in all performance management processes for PCTs Acute and Mental Health providers ensuring delivery of targets and objectives. More

   


Lesley Pattenson, GGI Associate

Lesley has completed numerous independent commissions as consultant, researcher, trainer or facilitator for national, regional and local bodies. These include charities, local authorities, universities, NHS bodies and infrastructure organisations. Lesley also has over 20 years experience in NHS management at local, regional and national levels.  Her main areas of expertise are community and user engagement and involvement; equality and diversity, particularly sexual orientation and disability; performance management; consumer research, service evaluation and review. Lesley has considerable experience of the voluntary and community sector, including establishing, developing and supporting groups and services in both paid and unpaid positions, is currently on a number of management committees and sits on several strategic bodies. 

 

Sue Stirling, GGI Associate

Sue has worked across both the public and third sector achieving outcomes from national governance improvement to primary care transformation and many ground level change programmes. Her background is in clinical and organisational psychology and she has held senior roles in the NHS, local government and charities. More
