17th May 2017
In May 2016, the Good Governance Institute brought together a number of senior leaders drawn from a range of sectors to discuss topical governance issues at our annual Leaders Forum. The central themes that emerged last year focused on leadership, reporting to stakeholders and regulation.
This year will see GGI host our third residential Leaders Forum on 17 – 18 May 2017 to be held at Leeds Castle, which will include representatives from health, social care, education, charity, sport, housing and finance. Areas of special focus this year will include:
Mergers and change
Efficient use of resources: “frugal innovation”
New principles of good governance
What does the changing landscape mean for the effective governance of organisations?
The Forum will commence on 17 May with a reception from 4.30pm, followed by dinner, with contributions from a keynote speaker.
Day two of the event (9.30 – 4.00pm) will develop in detail the key areas of discussion outlined above.
This event is by invitation only. A summary of the debate will be circulated following the session.
